Loss confirmed at 14,2-14,4 billion, said at a press conference the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Fedorov.

"We have examined, as expected, in accordance with the procedure approved by the Government of the Russian Federation and confirmed damage at 14,2-14,4 billion rubles," - said the Minister. Regions themselves declared total losses at 45 billion rubles, and the direct damage estimated at more than 21 billion rubles, according to "guide the economy."

The area lost crops of the examination was 5.5 million hectares, and not 7.6 million hectares, which have been declared. Support the affected producers will not only insurance, but also by additional subsidies, which can be allocated 6 billion, as well as interest-free loans, which will be not less than 10% of the declared amount of damage.
