According to the press service, from July 3 in the region on the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Chuvash introduced state of emergency.
"This decision was taken due to the winter and abnormally hot, dry summer weather, which caused the death of crops "- explains the press office. Extremely low winter temperatures in the absence of snow cover resulted in a massive planting of winter crops on the area that constitutes 64% of the total area sown to winter crops.
